How to play the Djembe

Do you own a djembe but do not know how to play? In this introductory clinic, Al will teach breathing techniques, hand placements, how to connect to the spirit of your djembe and basic rhythm techniques to help you play the Djembe.  All work will be hands on as a group and individual basis.  Come join us for a fun evening of learning about the djembe and how to play this incredible instrument.

Please bring:  Any size Djembe drum & a Bottle of water
 
About Al Romao
Al is a self taught percussionist that has been playing and performing percussion for 20 years.  He has a very strong spiritual connection to the beat and spirit of the drum while playing and performing. Al has been studying Shamanism for four years and has completed the Two Week Shamanic Healing Intensive with the foundation for Shamanic Studies. 

Al offers a monthly healing drum circle
Al is available every Sunday from 12pm - 4pm 
and every Tuesday from 11am - 6pm
